Early Life & Education
Celina was born and raised in Portugal, where she attended the Liceu Nacional de Viseu (currently known as Escola Secundária Alves Martins). She moved to the United States as a young adult and subsequently completed her associate’s degree at Tunxis Community College.
Work Experience
Prior to joining NeuroHealth of Connecticut in 2019, Celina worked across various healthcare settings over the span of 30 plus years. She has extensive knowledge in medical insurance and administrative procedures, with experience in Pediatric, Family Medicine and OB/GYN settings, as well as at a central billing office.
Celina’s goal is to help patients feel welcomed to NeuroHealth of Connecticut and to ultimately assist in obtaining the services they need. At a personal level, Celina loves family, animals and nature. She enjoys taking long walks with her beloved dog, Sasha, who is her constant companion. Celina is an avid reader and also enjoys creating healthy vegetarian meals.
